Custom Software Development

When the off-the-shelf product does not do the job and the workaround is ten spreadsheets, we build something that does.

What we build

Software that solves one specific problem in your business, not a general-purpose platform.

Internal tools

Admin dashboards, order entry, job tracking — wherever you work in spreadsheets today.

System integrations

Getting the shop to talk to the ERP, the accounting system or the warehouse, so the same data is not entered twice.

Automation

Jobs that run by themselves: synchronisations, stock updates, scheduled reports and alerts.

Reports people read

Your data in a shape that produces a decision, instead of a CSV export nobody opens.

OpenCart extensions

We write and maintain our own. If you need something the marketplace does not have, we build it.

Older applications

Upgrading, or gradually replacing, systems that still work but are no longer maintained.

How we work

In small pieces, with something working in your hands early.

  1. Scoping What happens today, where the time goes, and what would count as success.
  2. Prototype A first version you try, before the rest is built on a wrong assumption.
  3. Development Delivered in stages, each one usable as it arrives.
  4. Handover Code, documentation and training. You can continue with us or without us.

Frequently asked questions

When is custom software worth it over something off the shelf?

When the off-the-shelf product forces you to change how you work, or when you pay subscriptions for ten tools that do not talk to each other. If an existing product does the job, we will say so.

What does it cost?

It depends on the size of the problem. We start with a scoping exercise that gives a concrete range for cost and time before you commit to the whole project.

Who owns the code?

You do. It is handed over with documentation, so any developer can pick it up.

How long does it take?

An internal tool can be ready in a few weeks; an ERP integration depends on what the other system allows. The scoping gives you the answer before we start.

What if changes are needed later?

Needs change and software has to follow. You can have a support contract or call us as things come up.

Have a problem no off-the-shelf tool solves?

Describe what you are trying to do. If there is a simpler route than writing software, we will point you to it.
